Nigerians woke up this morning to Minister of labour and employment, Kayemo Festus SAN, blasting veteran rapper and Mr lecturer hit maker, Eadris abdulkareem for calling him fraudster in his latest ”Jagajaga reloaded” song.
According to Kayemo, Eadris is frustrated because he didn’t grant his request when he desperately begged to join the Buhari campaign team for his selfish interest. Read full here
In reaction to the call out Nigerians on social media have now asked the minister to forgive Eadris as his move then to join the Buhari’s team was because he was young and naïve. This is coming after the federal government begged the general public to forgive the minister of communication, Isa Pantami over his comments pledging allegiance to a deadly terrorist group.
See reactions below:
Please let's not have Eedris and Pantami comparisons. One begged to join a presidential campaign and the other allegedly instigated murder and terrorism.
Even if both change their minds about their actions, only one person has committed an actual crime and must be punished.

Eedris has, rightly, apologized for what he did in 2019. His actions were absolutely unacceptable then, and would be equally unacceptable today, were he to repeat them. But he will not repeat them – for he has publicly and permanently condemned his earlier actions as wrong.😂

Hope we'd all agree Keyamo as a Minister can make his points about Eedris without sharing receipts of private conversations?
Fair enough, its OK to be petty. Even me sef, I'm not OK. 😄— Son of David (@DrOlusesan) April 25, 2021
Keyamo's attack On Eedris is an attack on Islam

Shame that poverty and desperation made Eedris want to support Buhari. Whether he’s really grown now or not, these receipts are disgraceful.
Even bigger shame what the Keyamo – THE Festus Keyamo is in bed with the type of people he fought against.
Both of you 🤝 disgrace. https://t.co/SrEDGq6oL8

Like Eedris, like Charlie Boy but Charlie Boy was able to cash out with his "his-mumu-don-do" fake activism movement.
If Eedris has been drafted in, he would most probably not sing "jagajaga reloaded"
Meanwhile political campaigns, a lot of artists also hustle to get money o https://t.co/b1cJWCwvBT

LMFAOOOOooo… For a song that I didn't even know existed, Keyamo really did a good PR job for Eedris. 😂🤣

Eedris said he is with Buhari's Government with his body and Soul
Keyamo is a wicked Progressive 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/iPvcJVMiWM

Good morning Distingusied @fkeyamo , in Eedris Abdulkareem’s defense, he was a young man in 2018 when he begged to be recruited into the Buhari campaign team, he has grown a lot since then and he has recanted this begging.
He is now is a Reformed Social Justice Warrior. https://t.co/SToDuFOT8z

Eedris really begged to be part of Buhari Team in 2018 even though Buhari was already performing badly then, that’s very ridiculous.
But the Jagajaga reloaded is a song portraying the reality of things. I will focus on the song and not the singer even though thunder fire Eedris.
