A group of Nigerians who identified themselves as #RevolutionNow protesters held a protest along the highway leading to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the federal capital territory (FCT) Abuja this Monday morning June 21.
According to Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of SaharaReporters, who is one of the conveners of RevolutionNow, shared photos and videos of the protesters on his Facebook page today. The protesters were filmed chanting “Buhari must go” as they set on fire on the highway, obstructing the free flow of traffic.
In the post accompanying the video, Sowore wrote: “#BuhariMustGo protest[ers] on the highway to the airport in Abuja this morning! No Rest for the wicked! #RevolutionNow.”
