Iconic singer, Céline Dion, 50, has addressed those criticizing her ‘slimmer figure’, iconic sense of style, and her relationship with ‘toyboy’ Pepe Munoz.
Talking to The Sun, Céline said her new sense of style (which is incredible) and her slimmer frame has been criticised.
He’s my handsome best friend: Céline addresses rumours that she is now dating ‘toyboy’ Pepe Munoz, a Spanish backing dancer, who is always by her side as she brands herself ‘single’
She said: ‘If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it. Don’t bother. Don’t take a picture. If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone.’
Céline refers to her late husband, Rene Angelil as the ‘greatest man who ever lived.’ He was the only man she had ever kissed and discovered her talent when she was 12.
He sadly passed away three years ago, from cancer, when he was aged 73 – and her brother tragically passed away in the same week.
The pair have previously denied any sort of romance, but Céline can see why there is an interest in her ‘best friend’ who trains her and makes sure she is in the best shape.
She said: ‘Yeah, there’s another man in my life, but not THE man in my life. We bonded right away as friends, it evolved… but let’s not mix everything.
‘We’re best friends. Of course we hug and hold hands and go out, so people see that. I mean, he’s giving me his hand to go out.’
Céline said she doesn’t get angry when people think she has moved on already because Pepe is ‘handsome’ and her ‘best friend.’
Some of the interview was also shown on Lorraine and Céline, who is the mother of Rene-Charles, 18, and twins Eddy and Nelson, eight, spoke about her boys.
She said of Rene-Charles: ‘Yeah 18. I can’t believe it, for his 18th birthday I said I’m so proud of him, he’s so athletic, the girls are starting to come now, do I have a choice?
‘I’m coping very well with it because that’s life and that’s normal. I know he’s well taken care of from above, his dad is sending good energy and I told him I will always have my heart in my hand for him to hold on to.’
She said of her late husband: ‘I’ve had wonderful moments in my whole life, getting married to the greatest man in this world, knowing he’s resting in peace, and seeing him through the eyes of my children.
