27-year- old reality start and former adult film star, Farrah Abraham got more than she bargained from haters Monday after she posted a nude shot that was clearly inspired by one Kourtney Kardashian posted on social media earlier this month.
In the March 4 shot, Kourtney, 39, and mother of three was seated naked on a sink with her hair wrapped up in a towel as she sipped coffee and held a Macintosh laptop computer.
In Farrah’s shot, sat in a bathroom nude with her hair up in a towel, holding a cupcake while looking at a Macintosh laptop.
Farrah, a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, captioned the post: ‘LEGEND. GODDESS. GENIUS Monday’s mean multitask I can never finish getting ready & im woken up by calls & meetings never end …. so just do it.’
The Teen Mom alum was ripped in the comment sections on both Instagram and Twitter, as many took exception toward her supposed lack of originality, excessive Photoshop use, and boasting of her business acumen.
‘Kourtney did it first and it makes you look pathetic, jealous & insecure (per the usual),’ one user wrote. ‘This isn’t the 1st time you’ve copied something the Kardashians have done. Kourtney looks fabulous. You on the other hand … Nice airbrushing, Photoshop and filters.’
Others reminded Farrah in so many words that she was not a member of reality TV’s first family.
One wrote, ‘You are not a Kardashian. Accept that. Please,’ while another said, ‘You will never be kourtney kardashian.’
In her career, Farrah has taken a number of paths similar to that of the Kardashian sisters – including stints on reality shows, such as Ex on the Beach, Celebrity Big Brother and Couples Therapy.
When Farrah released two adult films in 2013 and 2014, some accused her of looking to follow the successful blueprint Kim had with the 2007 release of her sex tape with Ray J.
But in 2016, Farrah claimed that she was not looking to follow in Kim’s footsteps – as she was already blazing a trail of her own even farther.
‘I think I’ve surpassed her in some aspects,’ Farrah said of Kim on the Nik Richie Podcast, according to ET. ‘Then again, I conduct myself and my brand in a different way. I’m on a very different journey. So I think I’m doing very well, if not better.’
