Kim Kardashian and Kanye West received a warning for a video in which the rapper, 42, could be seen driving alongside American antelope in Wyoming.
In the video shared last weekend, the reality star, 38, reprimanded her husband for ‘scaring’ the pronghorns as he seemed to speed quickly past them.
According to TMZ, the Wyoming Game & Fish Department claimed the state, where the couple have bought a ranch, has laws that prohibit animal harassment, such as chasing them in a car.
On Friday, a spokesperson for the department told the publication that they had paid a visit to the manager of Kanye’s ranch to ask them about the video and advise them of the laws.
A source for Kim and Kanye advised TMZ that the couple were not chasing the animals, and were simply driving along when the animals came running past them.
They added that Kanye slowed down after the video was taken and let the American antelopes go on their way, and there has not been a formal complaint filed against the pair so there will not be an investigation into the incident.
If a formal complaint was going to be filed against Kim and Kanye then they would be given a $435 fine, according to the publication.
